Scions of Heaven

Today we are introducing Aasimars, mortals blessed by the inhabitants of outer planets. Aasimars appeared in the game thanks to the sponsors that supported Pathfinder: Kingmaker during the Kickstarter campaign and then voted for this race in a special survey.

From then on, the Aasimars had to compete against Dhampirs and the descendents of creatures from other elemental planes, and finally, the Aasimars won. The Dhampirs and Oreads joined them in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, also thanks to sponsors.

The popularity of the Aasimars isn’t surprising, as they are blessed with beauty, grace, wisdom, and other other-world celestial gifts. At least, this is how the majority of people see them. However, in reality, their legacy can be as much a blessing as a heavy burden. Ordinary people see them as a source of wisdom and incredible facts, or they can, for example, hate them because of envy.
