Metal Terror delayed to July

The Riftbreaker team have some bad news. Despite their efforts, the Metal Terror global expansion will not be ready for its planned release on May 30th. It is with a heavy heart that they have made the decision to postpone the release until July.

Metal Terror is a very large expansion that introduces several new creature species, an entirely new resource type, dozens of research items, and weapons. Adding so many new features and making sure they all interact with each other as intended is a complex and time-consuming process. Testing the new part of the campaign revealed several major issues. Among many others: saves would get corrupted, the game is not fully stable yet and the game flow is not properly balanced, resulting in a bad experience on difficulties other than normal.
