Dragonflight will be the new WoW expansion

Dragons have made up a fundamental part of Azeroth history guiding mortal races and influencing the most important events… Sometimes to achieve their own goals.

With the waking of their ancestral home, the dragons will call upon the heroes of the Alliance and the Horde to face new threats and emerging mysteries.

There was a time when Dragon Isles where the centre of the dragon kingdom, when the world was young and the mortal races had just started to form their own kingdoms. When the legion carried out their invasion during the War of the Ancients and the Great Sundering broke the world draining a large amount of the magic from the earth, the dragons where obliged to leave their native land behind. But they didn’t leave it without the watchers in wait, ready for the moment when the elemental energy resurged and the dragons could return home to re-establish their kingdom.
